Concepts & Manifesto

Efrat Studio’s manifesto is to create something from nothing, by using insignificant and ordinary objects and evolving them into significant spatial composition.

By repurposing insignificant objects in a special situation we continuously allow them to evolve, enabling them to be read in the architectural medium or by any other representative medium.

This realm of activity is aimed at reinventing the architectural medium by reducing the distances and blurring of boundaries between the constructed object and its various representations.

Expressed as Bricolage in the early C20th, this unifying of diverse objects has evolved whereby it aligns with the modern day principle of sustainability, by repurposing the ordinary, everyday and disposable.
